Tungsten is a dull silvery-gray metal that can have a lustrous sheen. It has a very high melting point at over 3000° F and the lowest vapor pressure. Tungsten is corrosion resistant, ductile, offers low oxidation properties, low thermal expansion and high tensile strength.
