What is Titanium CP Grades 1 & 2?

Titanium CP Grades 1 – 4 are commercially pure Titanium alloys.

Properties and Appearance

Commercially Pure (CP) Titanium is available in four grades based on its ductility, corrosion resistance, and strength. This dull, dark gray metal is part of the corrosion resistance group.

Grade 1 CP Titanium has the highest corrosion resistance, while Grade 4 is the strongest. Both Grades 1 & 2 are equally corrosion resistant.

The Aerospace, electronics, and medical industries use CP Titanium 1 & 2.
