What is Tantalum Suppliers?

Tantalum is a heavy dark blue-grey rare ductile metal highly resistant to corrosion, chemicals and high temperatures. Tantalum is a relatively rare metal used extensively in technology applications. Tantalum is a chemical element with the symbol Ta and an atomic number of 73.

Tantalum Properties and Appearance

Tantalum is chemically non-toxic, has high corrosion resistance in temperatures lower than 302° F combined with the fourth highest melting temperature of all metals. It is highly ductile. Its resistance to corrosion makes Tantalum useful in chemical industry and marine applications whilst its temperature resistance is a valuable property in demanding environments such as jet turbines, nuclear reactors and chemical manufacturing.
