What is Lanthanated Molybdenum?

Lanthanated Molybdenum is a Molybdenum alloy.

Properties and Appearance

Lanthanated Molybdenum is a dull, silvery-white metal with a light sheen. In some cases, it can have a coppery tint. Lanthanated Molybdenum belongs to the refractory metals group.

Lanthanated Molybdenum products have higher recrystallization temperatures, exceptional creep resistance, and better ductility than Molybdenum alone. It is stable up to 2700° F.

Heating elements, hearth supports, and furnaces all benefit from Lanthanated Molybdenum. It is highly used in the glass making industry, as well as vacuum furnace applications.
